This Giving Tuesday, consider supporting Brooklyn children and community members, as we provide supportive housing and services to bring them from crisis to community.

Your support goes a long way at BCHS. The daily cost of supportive housing per-person averages to $45, which is significantly more cost-effective and holistic in care than alternatives including shelters ($101 per day), incarceration ($197 per day), psychiatric facilities ($560 per day), and hospitalization ($1,422 per day).

Gifts from supporters like you help us continue to serve over 1,200 homeless children, mothers, veterans, domestic violence survivors, individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse disorders and individuals across the borough. They deserve support to overcome their circumstances, build community, and achieve housing security.

An individual standing outside holds a paper sign that says "Thank you for standing with us this year!" and the BCHS logo.
