BCHS Hosts Pathways to Home Gala 2026

Hundreds of supporters gathered at the Brooklyn Museum for our annual Pathways to Home Gala on Wednesday, May 20 to celebrate the strides BCHS has made towards ending homelessness and providing stability to Brooklynites.

This year, we shed light on newly opened Pacific Street development. Guests viewed a brief video presentation, followed by remarks from Chief Program Officer Wendy Junious, Program Director Zakia Pendarvis, and Deputy Program Director Tamika Harris who shared the stories of some of Pacific Street’s first tenants.

Richard Greenspan, current Chairperson and longtime board member was awarded the 2026 Builder of Hope Community Leadership Award for his dedication to our mission of ending homelessness in Brooklyn.

The event featured artwork by seven BCHS residents, music by DJ Rumor, a special performance by New York State Poet Laureate Kayden Hern, and live artwork by muralist Alice Mizrachi.

Thank you to our sponsors, vendors, and BCHS team members who made this an inspiring evening!
