The BCHS Board of Directors recently elected Ameya Bapat and Perla Delson to the Board of Directors. Ameya is Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer at Commodore Capital, a biotechnology investment fund. Perla is the Founder of Studio Delson, an architecture and design firm based in Brooklyn. Learn more about our newest board members below!
Meet Ameya
Ameya is an attorney at Commodore Capital, a biotechnology investment fund. Ameya lives in Brooklyn with his family and their energetic dog, who keeps them on their toes. Outside of work, Ameya enjoys gardening, where he grows a variety of vegetables, including his go-to crop: jalapeños. Ameya’s dedication to homelessness and housing started during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, which led him to get involved with BCHS. Through his board service, Ameya hopes to deepen his understanding of BCHS’s programming and help advance the organization’s mission.
Meet Perla
Perla is an architect whose practice, Studio Delson, is based in DUMBO. A Manhattan native, Brooklyn is where Perla and her family call home. Though she is new to the BCHS Board, Perla is a longtime friend of the organization. Perla is looking forward to learning about BCHS and its programming on a deeper level and spreading awareness about our impact.
Want to see Perla in action? Studio Delson regularly hosts art exhibitions and talks, which serve as a platform for artists and thinkers to have conversations that expand their understanding of the community. Learn more about Studio Delson’s upcoming events on their website.
