Ivy House is an 18-bed transitional community residence for single adults with a serious and persistent mental illness.

The program offers mental health counseling, medication management, daily living skills training, substance abuse services, health services, recreational activities, and the development of socialization and self-advocacy skills.

Registered nurses from Visiting Nurses Service of New York provide on-site assistance monitoring and managing prevalent conditions such as obesity, diabetes and hypertension.

In addition, residents receive on-site mental-health care from interning psychiatrists through the Project for Psychiatric Outreach to the Homeless (PPOH).
